BLACK

Lightless eyes,
Lameness in sight.
Born for a dark cause?
Forever do they dream dark?
Or do they sleep in black?

Lightless eyes,
What is thy sin?
For neither seen you have
The creators of concious life,
Nor the playmates of youthful nature.

Lightless eyes,
Forbidden from the meaning of beauty,
And teased for trusting reality.
Frail are the eyes for the future,
And sound are the ears to the past.

Lightless eyes,
Though heard you have the truth of the sages
Crossed, you have not the ignorant ages,
Yet, through the dark lanes of your sight
Seen you have the invisible time of ravages.

P.S: This poem is dedicated to the blind who have eyes not to see but to shed tears. This is by the inspiration of the movie "BLACK" by Mr. Sanjay Leela Banshali.

The Touch Of Truth

The imperishable truth touched humanity,
And sensed the touch from humility.
The humiliated, the voiceless, the speechless.
Stirred the depths of humanity.
Breaking the barrier of solitude.
Pain attained the proud state,
Once again the inner self became passionate,
And his days came into bright light.
With the air around him,
Rousing with passion and deligh.
The thought which dwelled in his soul,
Obtained the touch of truth,
And this truth in his thought.
This truth: his thought.
Too great for speech.
And too idealistic for action.
Even the nature adored it.
But humanity envied this thought: his truth
His victory is in his truth,
And too idealistic for action.
Even the nature adored it.
But humanity envied this thought: his truth
His victory is in his truth.
And he felt his nearness to the absolute.
The thought reveals its terms with truth.
The path to pride is paved by pain
This is a small thought
Through a mightier nought
And a small truth
To abide by the absolute.

Quest

Between grief and joy,
I heard my will,
Once and for alllight lit my eyes
Alarming truth in the creation
I answered my will
Maintaning my privacy with the world's truth
The worldly vibrations set me strong
And what came to an end,
Seemed endless.

Belief, the path of my mind
Is the path to my future.
In this earthly future
Losing everything would never bring grief &
Gaining everything would never bring joy.
Bliss is in the thought,
Thought is thinking, the self ain't lost
And if the self is lost,
Lost is not my hope.
For the soul surrenders to the heavens ad hope to the self,
When life is a Quest in this world!

P.S : This speaks of confining to confidence.
For me it holds as a major source of truth.
All you smile at is not happiness and all
you cry at is not misery.
