Inamorata

An Omniously dark avenue,
Stark trees casting contorted shadows,
As I amble about difficultly,
Amidst an eeriee silence......
Every heavenly creation,
Seems so bleak, so anachronous,
From that memorable evening,
when blissful togetherness inundated us.

As we dreamly trod this redolent earth,
Hand in Hand,
Heads leaning against each other,
Loving, hiding ourselves within ourselves,
In an eternal tryst of souls.
Fighting the ravages of time,
My poigant heart survives,
Suttered by the priceless moments shared,
Which I recall timelessly and count,
Like a fragile necklace of pearls.

The ancient moon coyly hides
Behind gently swaying branches.
As I lean against the same tree,
And vicariously try to bathe in
The pristine light of your smile.
Oh the lovely fleting clouds,
The soft caressing breeze,
Nature's soothing music,
Cannot enliven this darkness.
For, every silhoultte around me,
Seems to epitomize your celestial form.

The rustle of the leaves
Feels like ypur breath against me
My heart keeps on meandring unmoored,
defying under confine
My senses, a desolate blade of grass.
Braving the brazen harsh winds of seperation
I continue to exist, Oh Inamorata!!
Yet cease to live .... Till your resplendent presence
Pours the nectar of love into my soul.....

Pilot..
